District Educational Conference 2017

Dear Key Clubbers and Advisors:
The 68th Annual New England and Bermuda District of Key Clubs Educational Conference will convene in the Marriott and Sheraton Hotels in Springfield, MA on Friday night, all day Saturday, and Sunday morning, March 31, April 1, and 2, 2017. This webpage will contains information about the Conference, registration, and contests and awards given out at the Conference. All information and forms will be available online in December 2016.
Your Key Club Representatives at this conference:
Every Key Club in the New England and Bermuda District should have a minimum of TWO people present at this conference. You are invited to send as many of your Key Clubbers as possible. Please see that your members register for the conference on or before February 18, 2017.
Conference Registration Form:
Registration Forms will be available in December 2016.
Every Key Clubber and adult chaperone must register using the registration forms found on this website, completing all required information. Registration fee for Key Clubbers is $160 per person and adult registration is $195 per person. Please make check payable to New England District of Key Clubs and mail with a printed copy of the registration pages to the following address by February 18, 2017:

The Conference registration deadline is February 18, 2017. Registrations postmarked after this date will be accepted based on availability. Absolutely no late registrations will be accepted at the Conference door on Friday without prior approval of Mr. Timothy Daly.
Transportation to and from the Conference is the responsibility of the individual Key Clubber.
Elections for the District Board:
During the Conference, we will elect our District Board for the 2017-2018 Key Club year. Lieutenant Governors will be elected at Divisional Caucuses prior to the Conference, and any vacant positions will be filled with Divisional Caucus held on Friday evening, March 31, at the Conference. The positions of District Governor, District Secretary, District Treasurer, and District Bulletin Editor will be elected during the Conference. Candidates will campaign throughout the weekend, and the vote will be held at the House of Delegates.
More information about running for a District Board Position will be available in November.
All dues-paid Key Clubs in attendance are entitled to have two (2) voting delegates to represent them, along with two (2) alternates.
Contests and Scholarships:
Please note that the Contest and Scholarship Award Deadlines have changed this year. Submissions for the George R. Whitney Leader of Leaders Award and the Scholarship Application must be mailed to the designee on the entry form and postmarked no later than February 18, 2017. All other contest submissions may either be mailed and postmarked by March 15, 2017 OR entered in person at the Conference Office by 10:00 P.M. on Friday, March 31, 2017.
Please note that at least two scholarship awards will be given out at the Conference. Each Key Club is encouraged to nominate a graduating senior to receive an award.
