Kiwanis International
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.  Kiwanians are professional adults in communities in 80 countries around the world who work together to serve their communities and the world.  Kiwanis Clubs sponsor Key Clubs and other Kiwanis Family clubs.  The word "Kiwanis" means "We Build."

The New England and Bermuda District of Kiwanis has nearly 200 clubs in communities through the six New England states and Bermuda.

Circle K International (CKI) - for college students
Circle K International is the world's largest international collegiate community service organization.  Much like Key Club, CKI promotes service, leadership, and fellowship on college and university campuses around the world.  Though newer and smaller than Key Club International, CKI is just as fun!  Learn more about Circle K and find a club on your future college campus at the New England and Bermuda Circle K website.

Aktion Club - for adults with disabilties
Aktion Club is the Kiwanis Family branch for adults living with disabilities.  The fastest growing Kiwanis Family branch, Aktion Club empowers members to be themselves, work together with friends, and serve those in need.  Find an Aktion club near you and plan a joint service project!

There are Aktion Clubs throughout New England in places like Newport, RI; Cape Cod; Midcoast Maine; Portland, ME; Berkshire County, MA; Rutland, VT; Marshfield, MA; Meriden, CT, and Mid-Maine.


Builders Club - for middle school students
With over 1,300 clubs in 18 nations, middle school students serve their schools and communities through Builders Club.  If you have a Builders Club in your communitiy, plan an interclub and encourage their members to join Key Club when they come to high school!



Kiwanis K-Kids - for elementary school students
K-Kids is a student-led community service club for elementary students that teachers members the value of helping others through service projects.  Find a K-Kids in your community and plan a service project or set up a mentoring programwith them!


Bring Up Grades (BUG)
Bring Up Grades (BUG) is a program designed to provide recognition to students who raise their grades into an acceptable range and maintain or continue to raise them from one grading period to the next.  Key Clubs and CKI clubs can sponsor a BUG program in a local elementary school!  You can supplement the BUG recognition program with homework help, reading, and other mentoring programs.  Learn more about starting a BUG program here.


Terrific Kids
Terrific Kids is a student recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem, and perserverance.  Students work with their classroom teacher to establish goals to improve behavior, peer relationships, attendance, and schoolwork.  TERRIFIC is an acronym for Thoughtful, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Responsible, Inclusive, Friendly, Inquisitive, and Capable.  Key Clubs and CKI clubs can sponsor a Terrific Kids program in a local elementary school!  Learn more here.
